The NASPAG Resident Education Committee (REC) consists of 15 members who serve a two-year term, with option to extend for an additional two years. We meet virtually every three months with one in person meeting at the ACRM.
Our committee is dedicated to developing resident education resources so that trainees across various specialties can gain exposure to PAG. The Resident Education Committee has outlined specific learning objectives central to PAG education and listed high-yield, up-to-date, and concise resources for learners in both the Short Curriculum and Long Curriculum.
The Resident Education Committee additionally created 35+ PAG WebEd cases, which are available on LMS at no additional cost to NASPAG members. Non-members and Program Directors wanting to purchase access for their learners can do so here. We welcome any suggestions for future case topics!
The PAG over Pastries Podcast has also been a great success. We are thankful for all the NASPAG members who have recorded an episode! If you have any ideas for future topics or would like to be featured in a future
episode, please reach out to REC committee members Dr. Camille Imbo and Dr. Susan Kaufman.
Lastly, our committee awards an annual $500 Research in Trainee Education at ACRM to the best abstract in trainee education. The winner of our 2026 award was Dr. Alessandra Sadler Andersen “Implementing and Evaluating a Pediatric Vulvar Examination Simulation Lab.” Please consider submitting your trainee education research next year.
