Professional Development Committee

NASPAG is excited to announce the formation of the Professional Development Committee, a new initiative dedicated to supporting the professional needs, career growth, and development of providers working in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. The committee will provide opportunities for members to connect, share expertise, develop resources, and address issues that impact the growth and sustainability of PAG as a specialty. The committee will also promote engagement across the broader PAG community, including PAG specialists, Adolescent Medicine providers, advanced practice providers (APPs), and other professionals working in the field, while increasing awareness of the unique expertise and value of PAG providers.  

Members are invited to get involved by joining one of our subcommittees: 

  • Committee Application (Ad Hoc) – Address emerging professional development needs and opportunities as they arise.
  • Private Practice – Support members navigating the unique opportunities and challenges of private practice in PAG.
  • Compensation, Billing & Pay – Share resources and strategies related to compensation, billing, reimbursement, and financial sustainability.
  • Faculty Development, Recruitment, & Retention in PAG – Explore strategies to attract, develop, and retain talented providers in the field of PAG. Provide resources and guidance to support academic advancement, leadership development, promotion, and career progression.
  • Launching, Expanding And Promoting (LEAP) Adolescent Medicine and PAG – Support members interested in developing, growing, and promoting programs within their institutions and communities.

Whether you are early in your career, established in practice, building a PAG program, working in private practice, or pursuing academic leadership, there is a place for you on the Professional Development Committee. We encourage all NASPAG members interested in strengthening our specialty and supporting the professional success of our colleagues to join us and help shape this exciting new initiative.
