Anti-Racism Committee

Our goal is to foster community and mentorship for providers from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, improve representation within NASPAG leadership, provide a pipeline for minority members-in-training, and further education of NASPAG members to strive for anti-racism within our medical field. Our hope is that this task force will serve as a model for other minority groups to develop similar communities.

NASPAG’s Statement on Diversity and Inclusion

NASPAG is dedicated to the provision and promotion of multidisciplinary leadership in education, research, and gynecologic care in a way that improves the reproductive health of all youth. We acknowledge that sexual and reproductive health care equity cannot exist without racial and social justice. As an organization, we continually strive to address current and historic health disparities, create spaces and platforms for underrepresented voices, and cultivate a community of providers representative of the patients we serve. Our goal is to intentionally foster an inclusive and equitable environment that celebrates the diversity of our patients, our membership, our fellowships, and our leadership
