Education Committee

The purpose of the Education committee is to assess the educational needs of our members and patients, develop new educational materials and disseminate these to NASPAG members. The committee also provides non-members of NASPAG with basic educational tools to enhance the visibility of NASPAG. Members collaborate in educational initiatives of other committees and other organizations (i.e. ACOG) when their work pertains to education for members.   

Objectives:

• Develop evidence-based Clinical Consensus Statements
• Create Patient Handouts to educate young individuals and caregivers  
• Ensure materials are up-to-date, peer-reviewed, and widely accessible
• Collaborate with experts and stakeholders to enhance educational outreach  
• Provide guidance and clarity on complex clinical topics in pediatric and adolescent gynecology   

The Education Committee develops the Clinical Consensus Guidelines and Patient Handouts
